Mr. Liu emphasized that the true value of the 10-inch membrane lies in system-level optimization:

• Energy Revolution: Compared with traditional 8-inch membranes, energy consumption per unit of water produced is reduced by 20%, meeting the low-carbon demands of future water treatment plants.

• Space Optimization: Under the same treatment capacity, the membrane system's footprint is reduced by 30%, making it particularly suitable for the retrofitting of aging waterworks.

• Operations & Maintenance Upgrade: When paired with Huamo's fully automated membrane rolling equipment, membrane replacement efficiency increases by 50%, significantly lowering labor costs.

The membrane system also demonstrates strong adaptability to varying influent water quality, operating stably within a pH range of 3–10 and at water temperatures up to 45°C. When combined with Huamo's pretreatment system, it effectively controls the SDI₁₅ value below 5.0, extending membrane service life to 3–5 years.

During the "Practical Engineering Exploration" session, Mr. Liu revealed that the 10-inch membrane system has already been successfully deployed in three major application scenarios:

• Industrial Wastewater Zero Discharge: After adopting this system, a chemical enterprise increased its concentrated water recovery rate to 70%, saving over 100,000 m³ of water annually.

• Municipal Water Supply Upgrading: The system integrates with the "MBR-DF" dual-membrane process, helping transform wastewater into Class III reclaimed water.

• Overseas Benchmark Project: At the Jakarta Water Treatment Plant in Indonesia, the system successfully replaced European and American products, serving as a model for Chinese membrane technology entering global markets.

Currently, the global membrane-based water treatment market has surpassed USD 50 billion, with an annual growth rate of 12%.
