Application Areas
The HM4046/HM90 hollow fiber UF membrane module is widely applied in municipal drinking water treatment, industrial process water purification, residential water supply, food and beverage processing, pharmaceutical water production, and wastewater recycling. It provides reliable 0.01-micron filtration for pre-treatment before RO systems and standalone water purification applications.
Important Notes
- Before installation, do not drain the protective liquid inside the membrane. Hollow fiber membranes lose performance if dried out. During temporary shutdown, keep the module filled with clean water to maintain moisture.
- In cold climates, take precautions to prevent freezing of the membrane module.
- The UF module housing is made of plastic. Handle carefully to avoid cracking from drops or impact.
- At connection points, avoid contact with oils, greases, or contaminants beyond the designated adhesive.
- During initial operation, flush the module for at least 30 minutes to remove residual preservative before collecting permeate for use.
