FROTEC LPFT-4040 BWRO Membrane Element

Details

Product Introduction / INTRODUCTION

LPFT-4040 is a low-pressure aromatic polyamide composite reverse osmosis membrane element developed by Huamo Environmental for desalination of surface water and groundwater. The product achieves a high desalination rate of up to 99.3% while maintaining high water productivity. It is mainly used for desalination treatment of brackish water, surface water, groundwater, and tap water with a salinity within 5000 mg/L. Its application fields include the preparation of pure water for electronics, electric power, municipal drinking water, chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, etc., and it can also be used for wastewater reuse and concentration projects. It features good desalination performance, high water productivity, and low operating pressure.

Precautions

  1. Before putting the membrane system into operation, in order to prevent damage to the membrane elements caused by excessive feed flow or hydraulic shock, please strictly follow the start-up procedure as per the operating instructions to ensure that the system water quality and flow rate meet the designed targets.

  2. Before the initial start-up of the membrane system, the pretreatment system commissioning, membrane element loading, instrument calibration, and other system checks should be completed.

  3. The feed pressure should be gradually increased within a time frame of 30 to 60 seconds.

  4. During long-term system shutdown, to prevent microbial growth, it is recommended to immerse the membrane elements in a preservative solution. The standard preservation solution is 1–1.5% (by weight) sodium bisulfite (food grade).

  5. During system operation, please be careful to avoid back pressure on the product water side.

  6. After the first wetting, always keep the membrane elements wet. For new membranes, rinse for 1 hour before first use.

  7. During operation, ensure that chemicals and lubricants do not adversely affect the membrane elements.
